About Path to Purpose Counseling & Consulting
Faith Iloka, LPC, LMHC, NCC
CEO

I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in New Jersey and New York, committed to creating a safe, affirming space for self-discovery, healing, and growth. My approach is grounded in genuine curiosity, empathy, and cultural humility, meeting each client with compassion and respect for their unique experiences.
With experience across school-based, outpatient, and crisis settings, I support teenagers, young adults, adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other co-occurring disorders. I am particularly passionate about supporting underserved communities and individuals navigating systemic barriers and generational trauma.
My therapeutic approach is culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and strength-based, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mind-body techniques. I am also passionate about the intersection of art and mental health, incorporating creative interventions to support emotional expression, self-esteem, and meaningful change.
As a Nigerian woman and advocate for mental health equity, I believe mental health care is a necessity, not a luxury. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate challenges, heal from past experiences, and move toward greater clarity, resilience, and purpose. At Path to Purpose, my goal is to ensure you feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout your journey.
